Maximilian Eggestein (German pronunciation: [maksiˈmiːli̯aːn ˈʔɛɡəʃtaɪn]; born 8 December 1996) is a German professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for SC Freiburg. He is also the older brother of fellow professional footballer Johannes Eggestein.
