Koji Uehara (上原 浩治, Uehara Kōji, [ɯehara koːdʑi]; born April 3, 1975) is a Japanese former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB), as well as the Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, and Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Koji Uehara is a Japanese relief pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles and Chicago Cubs in his MLB career. He won the ALCS MVP in 2013 and the AL All-Star in 2014, and has a career ERA of 2.66 and 95 saves.
