Maxwell Abmas (/ ˈ eɪ s m ə s / AYSS-məss; born April 2, 2001) is an American basketball player. He played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns and Oral Roberts Golden Eagles. He is one of 12 players in NCAA Division I college men's basketball history to score more than 3,000 career points.

May 5, 2023 · AUSTIN, Texas — Max Abmas (pronounced ACE -miss) has signed an Athletic Scholarship Agreement (ASA) to play basketball next season at The University of Texas, head coach Rodney Terry announced Friday. Abmas, who spent the last four years at Oral Roberts University, will join the Longhorns for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
