Charles Christopher Spielman (born October 11, 1965) is an American former professional football player who is a special assistant to the owner and CEO for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played linebacker for the Ohio State Buckeyes, twice earning All-American honors.
He is Detroit's all-time leader in career tackles with 1,138 and led the Lions defense for eight seasons (1988-95), helping the team to four playoff appearances, two NFC Central titles and a berth in the 1992 NFC Championship Game.

Chris Spielman is an All-Star linebacker from Massillon Ohio. Chris played 11 years in the NFL for the Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, and the Cleveland Browns and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2009.
