Galway Bay ( Irish: Loch Lurgain or Cuan na Gaillimhe) is a bay on the west coast of Ireland, between County Galway in the province of Connacht to the north and the Burren in County Clare in the province of Munster to the south; Galway city is on the northeast side.

Aug 1, 2023 · Visited this beach on a lovely sunny Sunday. It's a beautiful beach, lots of sand and completely unspoilt. It wasn't as busy as Salthill beach which was nice and meant there was plenty of room for the kids to run around. There are no shops around it so bring snacks and drinks with you.
