The Manhattan Bridge connects Chinatown in Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn. The bridge supports seven lanes of vehicular traffic, four transit train lines, a pedestrian walkway and a separate bikeway.
Manhattan bridge is the next bridge north from the iconic Brooklyn bridge. Contrary to the Brooklyn bridge it is made entirely of steel, yet it's beautiful. However, crossing it on foot is less interesting as the walking paths are on bridge sides, while on Brooklyn it's in the middle.
