Shreveport ( / ˈʃriːvpɔːrt / SHREEV-port) is a city in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is the third-most populous city in Louisiana after New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The bulk of Shreveport is in Caddo Parish, of which it is the parish seat. [4] It extends along the west bank of the Red River into neighboring Bossier Parish.

May 10, 2022 · Louisiana State Exhibit Museum is a great stop when looking for things to do in Shreveport! It is home to 23 dioramas portraying snapshots of Louisiana in the 1940’s. It’s filled with artifacts from Louisiana Native Americans, regional and national historical artifacts as well as original work by local artists and natural history exhibits!
