Gerard Gallant (born September 2, 1963) is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former player. He was most recently the head coach of the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Gerard Gallant is a former left wing who played for Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning in the NHL. He is also a coach who has led several teams, including Florida Panthers, Vegas Golden Knights and New York Rangers.
