Ryan Patrick Day (born March 12, 1979) is an American football coach and former college football player. He is the 24th and current head football coach at Ohio State University, a position he has held since 2019. Day was also the acting head coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes for the first three games of the 2018 season.
Ryan Day is the head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, leading them to two Big Ten championships and three College Football Playoff appearances since 2019. He has coached 16 first-team All-Americans, six Heisman Trophy finalists and 32 NFL Draft picks.
