Start Your Journey Here. Colorado College's innovative approach to the liberal arts is the Block Plan, our uniquely intensive academic schedule that allows students to dive into a different subject every three and a half weeks.
You'll eventually focus on at least one academic discipline in-depth, but you'll have more than 80 majors, minors, and specialized programs to choose from. If you want to concentrate on more than one department, there are several combined or distributed majors, and even a self-defined major.
Colorado College seeks to provide a broad liberal arts education. During the second year at the college, a student chooses a major field in which to take concentrated work. Minors, double majors, and self-designed majors (under the heading of " Independently Designed Major ") are also possible.
