The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company ( / ˈlaɪnənkuːɡəl / ), doing business as Leinenkugel's, is an American beer maker based in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Leinenkugel's was historically distributed only in the Upper Midwest, but is now available throughout all 50 states.
Our beer has been filling steins there since it became home to the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company in 1867. Our hometown was once the site of the world’s largest lumber mill. The hard-working, thirsty lumberjacks made great customers for Jacob and his business partner, John Miller.

Feb 7, 2022 · A man whose name is literally synonymous with beer in the Chippewa Valley will retire at the end of the year as president of the brewery his family founded 155 years ago. Dick Leinenkugel has worked for the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. for 35 years, the last seven of them as president.
