Aug 21, 2023 · Axiom Space announced it raised $350 million in Series-C funding and secured over $2.2 billion in customer contracts for its world's first commercial space station. The company plans to launch its first module to the ISS in 2026 and operate independently by 2031.
Sep 12, 2023 · Axiom Space will launch a crew of four to the International Space Station in January 2024, including the first Turkish astronaut and an ESA project astronaut. The mission will conduct science, outreach, and commercial activities as part of NASA's low Earth orbit ecosystem development.
