Jacek Bromski (born 19 December 1946) is a Polish film director. He has directed 15 films since 1982. He was a member of the jury at the 18th Moscow International Film Festival. [1]
Jacek Bromski is a film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born in Wrocław in 1946. Bromski studied painting at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1965-1970, and Polish studies at University of Warsaw in 1972-1974. In the 1960s the director worked for Polish radio as an author and presenter of music programmes.
Jacek Bromski is one of Poland’s most engaged cultural activists. He has served as president of the Polish Filmmakers Association (PFA) without pause since 1996 and, at the time of writing, in other words, 2014, he is into his fifth term of office.
