Aquatics. Columbus Recreation and Parks has eight outdoor pools, an indoor aquatic center and six spraygrounds and fountains. Our trained and knowledgeable staff offers a variety of water fitness classes and lessons for all ages and skill levels. Starting May 25, the aquatics center will be closed on the weekends through the end of the summer. The aquatics center will be closed for staff training the weekend of June 3-7. Summer Hours June 1 – Sept. 2: Monday-Friday 7am-1pm.
Hours. Dodge, Driving Park, Glenwood and Tuttle pools: Thursday, July 4: Noon-6 p.m. Lincoln, Marion Franklin, Maryland and Windsor pools are closed on July 4. All outdoor pools open for the season on June 8. Monday-Friday: 1-7:30 p.m. Saturday: Noon-6 p.m. Sunday: Noon-6 p.m. *Note: All pools are closed on Monday, Sept. 2, for Labor Day.

Lake Hope is such an underrated park. It’s got a 600-foot beach and beautiful scenery, all just a little over an hour away from downtown Columbus. This 104-acre mineral spring-fed lake offers 5.5 miles of pristine shoreline. Although the campground doesn’t have any spots currently available, the beach park is open to the public.
