I launched my kayak at the Rock Spring Road launch just south of route 5. There is plenty of parking and plenty of room to drive up to the water and take your time (during the week anyway).

Mar 13, 2024 · Located in northeastern Ohio, West Branch State Park is a great place to visit if you are into hanging out at a beautiful lake for the day or enjoying a few hiking trails. It’s also an amazing spot for camping, with gorgeous sunsets and an extremely well-designed and well cared for campground!
West Branch State Park offers two pavilions; each is approximately 30’ x 20’ and holds eight picnic tables with charcoal grills nearby. The pavilions are within 100 yards of a restroom and provide visitors with a lake view and fishing access. Reserve online or by calling (866) 644-6727.
