The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston, located in Charleston, South Carolina. Designed by Brooklyn architect Patrick Keely in the Gothic Revival style, it opened in 1907.
Weekday Mass Schedule. Monday – Friday 12:05 pm. Weekend Mass Schedule. 5:30 pm Vigil Mass (Saturday) 9 am Sunday Family Mass* 11:15 am Sunday Solemn Mass* 6:00 pm Spanish Mass. *Sunday Morning Masses are also broadcast live in Lower Cathedral for overflow. Please come upstairs for Communion.
