Poston Park Trail System. The trailhead is located near Shelter 1 at Poston Park. We currently have over 10 miles of single-track trail at Poston Park, please see the map below for trail directions. The trail loops are equipped with a GPS numbering system for your safety.
It also has a volleyball court, 2 covered picnic shelters, miles of hiking-biking trails, a paved greenway, a fishing lake with pier, a dog park and even a concession stand. The park is neat, clean, well maintained and attractive. It's a gem in Gaston County.

George Poston Park's newest addition is the first asphalt pump track in North Carolina, with less than 10 asphalt pump tracks currently in the U.S. Our pump track is 10,000 square feet which can accommodate 20-30 users at one time.
