This is not really a beach by southern California terms. It is a sandy area for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking within Marina Del Rey. There are no waves, however the tide is continually drifting in and out. Great place to learn to paddle board or kayak. You can paddle past boats in their slips. Not sure how clean the water is in there.
