Excellent murals with fun hidden images to search for in most paintings. A visitor center with a free short film about the history of the murals. Also clowns to find around town, and bird Paintings. The town has a very interesting antiques store that was closed even though the hours posted indicated it should be open.

When entering Lake Placid from the south, start with the giant mural on the northeast corner (in front of you on the right) of highway 27 and County Road 621/Interlake Blvd.
