May 17, 2024 · Public Parks. The Parks Department manages six city parks, including the historic, 150-acre Wintersmith Park, as well as green spaces throughout the community. Wintersmith Park also hosts an annual Christmas lighting display considered one of the finest in Oklahoma.
The Wintersmith Park Historic District, known locally as simply Wintersmith Park, is a historic district located at 18th Street and Scenic Drive in Ada, Oklahoma. The park includes a lake, a lodge, bridges, trails, courts and a public amphitheater. The area is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The recreation department maintains the Glenwood Splash Park, the Glenwood Aquatic Center, the Wintersmith Aquatic Center, and the Ada Sports Complex. The recreation department also takes reservations for the historic Wintersmith Lodge and Ada Arts & Heritage Building.
