   Jul 1, 2023 · Lake Eklutna is a bit north of Anchorage and out in the boonies a bit. They have onsite bike and kayak rentals and miles of well maintained trails in a beautiful lakeside setting. We were there on a week day, and other than the rental shack attendant saw no park personnel.
