The monument overlooks Interstate 80 and commemorates Lincoln's 150th birthday. There's plenty of parking as there's a Visitor Center with lots of brochures and pamphlets of the surrounding area. There is an exhibit of the history of Wyoming as well as a short film of outdoor activities in Wyoming.

The Lincoln Monument is a bust of Abraham Lincoln by Robert Russin, 12+1⁄2 feet high and resting on a 30-foot-tall granite pedestal, at the Summit Rest Area on Interstate 80 east of Laramie, Wyoming.
