Keay Nature Center, a nature park at the corner of Skokie Blvd. & Hibbard Rd., is a peaceful space featuring winding paths, a pond and waterfall feature, plus a wide variety of native trees and shrubbery. Starting in October 2022, the Park District began a series of improvements at Keay which were completed in the spring of 2023.
This nature learning center features about one-half mile of six-foot-wide paths and nature trails, a shallow pond, a rustic wooden foot bridge, and a man-made waterfall. There are three laminated trail guides at the entrance.

This is a gem of a park hidden along Skokie boulevard and Hibbard....... There is a nice loop taking you past a pond filled with fish...... Something the kiddies will enjoy spotting. Some of the trees and shrubs are named, and the walk is gentle and easy with a fe benches to rest upon.
