Lake Redman is a beautiful and clean lake in York, PA. It offers very reasonably priced boat rentals by the hour and by the day. Electric motors only as this is our drinking water.

Established in 1977, William H. Kain County Park consists of 1,637 acres and 2 lakes, Lake Williams (220 acres) and Lake Redman (290 acres). The park is made possible through a 50 year lease agreement between the County of York and The York Water Company.
Enjoy this 12.8-mile loop trail near York, Pennsylvania. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 5 h 17 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

Great lake for kayaking! Jun 2020. My husband and I are always on the lookout for new places to kayak and decided to give Lake Redmond a try. The following are the pros and cons: PROS: For being located in a fairly populated area, the lake doesn't have the volume of people that you'd find at other parks.
