Once there, you can walk around the exterior of the quiet, wooded island. The easy, shady trail never takes you far from water views.

Dam can be seen at end of the trail. Real easy trail system, nice views of Black River. The far end of the island has boat access part of the year. [Show slideshow] Directions/Location: From Watertown take Route 3 to Black River, at the light turn left onto Main Street.
