The Fashion Archives and Museum of Shippensburg University is a unique part of the university community. It provides great opportunities for the university and public alike. With a donation-driven collection of 15,000 items, the archives and museum provides: Hands-on learning, volunteering and internship opportunities for students.
The Archives collects, preserves and interprets, in an historical and social context, its collection of apparel and related objects, which range from the 18th century to the present, with emphasis on items associated with middle-class and working Americans and with Pennsylvanians.

The Fashion Archives and Museum is uniquely comprised of a 15,000-item collection of mostly clothing donations dating back from the eighteenth to the twentieth century.
