House of Cool Studios [2] is a boutique animation studio based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and founded as a pre-production studio in 1994 by animation veteran Ricardo Curtis and finance expert Wes Lui, specializing in designing and storyboarding of films, series and commercials.
Over 19 years, our artist-centric and family driven approach with leadership provided by Curtis and Lui – both creative and business wise – have helped us grow to become a premiere studio operating in the world today.
House of Cool is a Toronto-based studio that creates pre-production for premium animated series and films. It has worked on projects for Illumination, Rovio, Spin Master, Marvel, Disney, DreamWorks and Netflix.
House of Cool provides series services including storyboards, editorial, direction, development, preproduction, production and post management, concept design and full pilots.
Mar 28, 2023 · WildBrain, a global leader in kids’ and family entertainment, has signed an agreement to acquire House of Cool, a top pre-production company for premium animated series and movies. The acquisition will expand and enhance WildBrain’s pre-production capabilities and offer more creative services for its clients and partners.
