Lt. Columbo (Peter Falk) is on the case of a murdered general in charge of a covert paramilitary operations school, now run by Col. Frank Brailie (Robert Foxworth). Brailie is the prime suspect, as he had been having an affair with the general's wife, Jenny (Janet Eilber), and was also found to have been embezzling money from the school's coffers for his own nefarious gain. Can Columbo outsmart Brailie and prove the colonel's guilt before he takes another victim?
