One Million Years B.C. was Hammer Studios' attempt to cash in on the short-lived (mercifully?) dinosaur exploitation trend, which thrived despite ASPCA complaints and the scientific impossibility of humans co-existing with dinosaurs. You know how these films went: big lizards, scantily clad cave folk and lots o' rocks.
As the Earth wrestles with its agonizing birth, the peoples of this barren and desolate world struggle to survive. Driven by animal instinct they compete against the harsh conditions, their giant predators, and warring tribes.
One Million Years B.C. is the spectacular Prehistoric adventure of Tumak, a caveman and the son of the leader of the Rock Tribe. When Tumak (John Richardson - Execution, She) is banished from his tribe, he wanders through the brutal prehistoric lands until he stumbles upon the Shell Tribe.
