After witnessing the murder of their corrupt boss, Bernie Lomax (Terry Kiser), Larry Wilson (Andrew McCarthy) and Richard Parker (Jonathan Silverman) are blamed for Bernie's embezzlement and fired. Desperate to find the stolen $2 million and clear their names, the pair learns the fortune was hidden in the Virgin Islands and travels there in pursuit.
