  5. Oct 12, 2009 · "The Unchastened Woman" is a rather oddly plotted and otherwise forgettable picture, but Theda Bara shines in it. Today, Bara is mostly a lost figure of the silent era; only a few of her films are known to survive, and, of them, I know of only two feature-length ones that have been so far made available on home video.

  7. When she goes to tell her husband Hubert that she is expecting a child, Caroline Knollys finds him in the arms of another woman. Caroline leaves him and, not telling him of her pregnancy, runs off to Europe where she has her child and becomes the toast of European society. Then she returns to settle with her husband once and for all.
