Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer also produced a German-language version of this film, Die Sehnsucht Jeder Frau. Vilma Banky appeared "by arrangement with Samuel Goldwyn." An earlier adaptation of Sidney Howard's play was released in 1928 as The Secret Hour and starred Pola Negri and Jean Hersholt under Rowland V. Lee's direction.
