Ed Okin's life is somewhat out of control. He can't sleep, his wife betrays him, and his job is dull. One night, he starts to drive through Los Angeles, and he finally ends in the parking garage of Los Angeles International Airport.
A nerdy scientist, despondent over his wife's cheating ways, takes off into the night and ends up with an attractive female jewelry smuggler on the lam, who drags him, unwittingly, into an adventure-filled evening where they are pursued by some evil crooks out to get her and her cache.
