Always in My Heart (1942) starred Walter Huston as Mackenzie Scott, a musician sentenced to life in prison for a murder he didn't commit. When he's found to be innocent, he returns home to learn that his wife Marjorie, played by Kay Francis, has protected his memory by telling his children (Gloria Warren and Frankie Thomas) that he died.
