In a bid to create the ultimate fighting man, Dr. Rue Wakeman (Rutger Hauer) harvests organs and tissue from the dead to create Lazarus (Wil Wheaton), an amalgam of dozens of men and women. When Lazarus proves mentally unstable, Wakeman enlists the help of psychiatrist Elizabeth English (Nia Peeples) -- but she discovers the creature is partially made up of her ex-lover.
