During summer break, Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) and her closest pals head off on a school-sponsored journey to Rome. Before long she makes the acquaintance of Paolo Valisari (Yani Gellman), a local music sensation whose duet partner looks almost exactly like Lizzie.
