Truthfully, this series is a success in every way, a look at how violence begets violence, and how every action we take builds or tears us apart piece by piece.

The King of Pigs is fantastic. But it's not an action show, and it's not fast-paced. It's an exploration of school bullying, how it shapes people even decades later, and how society deals with it (Or not). All wrapped up in a revenge drama that puts a focus on the main characters mental stability and how everything grinds them slowly down.

The drama is truly dark, not shying away from the gore, which wasn't only there for the shock effect, but to enhance the intensity of the drama.
