Overview. On his first day after being released from jail for 14 armed bank robberies, Lucas finds himself caught up in someone else's robbery. Perry has decided to hold up the local bank to raise money so that he can keep his daughter, Meg, and get her the treatment she needs.
Three Fugitives. Funnyman Martin Short plays an inept, klutzy bank robber who, on his first heist, grabs Nick Nolte as a hostage. Nolte plays a notorious ex-con who is trying to go straight, so naturally, no one believes he's innocent or Short guilty, forcing the mismatched pair to become reluctant partners in crime.
