When his mother becomes pregnant, their social worker prescribes a seaside holiday in care for 12-year-old Gavin (Jeremy Coaster), while his mother stays with her sister.
Doombeach plot. A young boy dies after swimming at a seaside resort. The local youth, led by Gavin, investigates and soon suspect the nearby nuclear power plant of pollution. Their teacher understands them, but is then broken into. Then Gavin is nearly killed after talking on TV about the problems.
