In her dramatic television debut, Ann-Margret is the true-life Lucile Fray, an Iowa farm woman with ten children who, discovering she has terminal cancer and feeling her alcoholic husband (Frederic Forrest) is unable to care for the kids, sets out to find new homes for each of them.
