The nephew of aging Juliet Mitchell (Elizabeth Patterson) is found dead in the house that the pair shared. Inspector Patten (George Brent) believes the deceased was murdered, and asks nurse Adams (Joan Blondell), who is taking care of Juliet, to poke around and see what she can dig up.
