Getting to The Wilds. The Wilds is located in rural southeastern Ohio, spanning 10,000 acres of pastures, grasslands, forests, and lakes. It is located roughly 2 hours from Columbus, OH, as the nearest major city and airport.
What to Bring to the Zoo. Wear comfortable clothes that are appropriate for the weather and sturdy walking shoes. Small children may appreciate a stroller for part of their adventure. Wagons and strollers are permitted at the Zoo but please obey stroller parking signs at designated locations.
