Sep 30, 2011 · How you like Courageous - an overtly Christian-targeted production about four police officers learning lessons about God and family - will likely mirror how you view church: It's either an overlong ordeal filled with talky sermonizing or an uplifting communion with your deity and values.
'Courageous' is in the top 10 of my favorite faith-based movies. It really is a tremendous uplifting film that leaves you in tears from the very beginning to the very end. And it's all attributed to God. Kudos to Alex Kendrick for being in the film and giving a terrific performance!

COURAGEOUS is a very emotional, captivating movie. The movie opens with an African American man, Nathan Hayes, chasing down a gang member who stole Nathan’s truck, with Nathan’s son inside. Nathan has just transferred from the Atlanta police department to the small town where he grew up, Albany, Georgia.
