Better than expected, with a complex script, lots of action (not all well-staged), and even some character development. 6. Rating. ★★★★★ Rewatched by msummerset 15 Aug 2023. FINALLY, a western that is sympathetic & actually humanizes Natives. This is a great movie, featuring an army doctor who wants to do the right thing & is caught between being a doctor trying to treat sick Natives, to being a soldier in a war with them. Its fantastic, & the ending is epic.
