Florence: Days of Destruction (Italian: Per Firenze) is a 1966 documentary about the 1966 Flood of the Arno River and its catastrophic effect on the city of Florence. Directed by Franco Zeffirelli, it is Zeffirelli's only documentary, and features the only known film footage of the flood.

On Friday, November 4, 1966, the good citizens of Florence, Italy, awoke to find that their beloved Arno River had once again flooded its banks. The storm that produced the flood was caused by a cyclone that formed in the western Mediterranean and moved eastward toward Italy.
Maryland’s copy of Florence was the first of two films to be screened the evening of November 3, 2016, in the Helmut Stern Auditorium of the University of Michigan’s Museum of Art. Zeffirelli’s Florence film is a dramatic and emotional record of the 1966 flood and the devastation it caused.
