English working class teen David (Charlie Creed-Miles) often clashes with his police officer father (David Shawyer). The artistically inclined David meets Rachel (Vanessa Hadaway), a wealthy drama student from the United States who has her own family problems. Before long, Rachel and David fall for each another, much to the chagrin of their parents.
