Castaway on the Moon. Mr. Kim throws himself into the Han River to end his misery. When he comes to, he is not in "heaven" but on Bam Island out in the Han River.

Brief Synopsis. A man named Kim jumps into the dark, quiet waters of the Han River. He wakes up and finds himself lying on strange ground, covered with sand. For a second he thinks he is in heaven, but soon recognizes that he simply drifted to a nameless island.
Feb 5, 2010 · Overview. Mr. Kim is jobless, lost in debt and has been dumped by his girlfriend. He decides to end it all by jumping into the Han River - only to find himself washed up on a small, mid-river island. He soon abandons thoughts of suicide or rescue and begins a new life as a castaway.
A failed suicide attempt leads a heartbroken man to live a life in the wilderness. After failing to kill himself by jumping off a bridge, the man is washed up on a deserted island in the middle of the river, but within view of the city's high-rises.
