In a Los Angeles rehabilitation center, a diverse group of men attempt to battle drug and alcohol addictions, while exploring the personal issues that led them to substance abuse. Despite the efforts of counselors William (Thomas Jefferson Byrd) and Brandon (Harry J. Lennix), the residents are reluctant to form bonds with one another.
