In 1945, Logan (Hugh Jackman), the Wolverine (before his conversion to Adamantium claws), is held in a Japanese POW camp near Nagasaki. As the city comes under attack from allied bombers, a young Japanese officer named Yashida frees allied POWs against military protocol.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan.
