Sonic 3 is really fun. I feel like compared to the second game, Sonic 3 tosses in a lot of goofy fun stuff like the spinning tops, the elemental Shields, stuff like that. It feels like the beginning of the shift from pure high-speed gameplay to spectacle, something this series would get a lot of shit for in the 3D games.
